2003 SUZUKI BANDIT GSF 1200/S SK3 DARK METALLIC GREEN

Selling on behalf of a friend and neighbour who does not have an ebay account. My friend is an extremely busy man which explains why in 3 years the bike has covered less than 700 miles. In fact the bike wasn't even Mot'ed in 2012 and 2013. Hence the reason for sale.

The only things that my friend did to the bike when he bought it was to fit a Scottoiler and a Beowulf end can which he managed to scratch/dent whilst moving the bike in his garage!

I have been over the bike replaced the battery and had it Mot tested. The bike is (in my opinion) in excellent condition for it's age and has always been garaged. However to be completely transparent there are some minor things that need to be mentioned:-

Both the wing mirrors have mild scuffing on the ends. the fairing has a minor scuff and scratches (see pic) the offside crankcase has an abrasion caused by the previous owner (another mutual friend and mature rider) who I understand dropped the bike when taking it off its centre stand. 3mm dent in petrol tank. Very minor paint corrosion on frame at engine mount. The Bridgestone tyres have approx 2. 8mm tread front and rear and will last the rest of this year but I would recommend changing them in the spring. Additionally the bike is due and could do with a service as there is a woolly spot between 3000 / 5000rpm and at idle it occasionally stallsI'm reasonably convinced that the cause is down to lack of use. stale petrol. partially blocked idle jetsor perhaps the carbs need balancing. After 5000rpm it pulls like a train!

The service book has 4 stamps the last was @ 8000 miles on 13. 03. 09. V5C here. two sets of keys Meta alarm/immobiliser and (if you have a purile sense of humour like me) an amusing number plate.

Viewing is encouraged/recommended and you can take it for a ride (I will accompany you) providing you have the correct insurance and I'm holding your driving licence and an agreed amount of cash.
