Suzuki DR650 DR 650 Supermoto Enduro Adventure Tourer Trail Bike Project LOOK!!!

I sold this bike a couple of weeks ago for £870. the buyer took it for a test ride and upon his return it struggled to re-start and now will not start at all. I believe he rode it around the block with the starter motor engaged burning it out as the starter switch was bodged with a flick switch that worked fine but needed to be turned off once the bike was started. The bike still starts. runs and rides fine with a bump but its an absolute pig to do so for the purpose of this auction it is being sold as a non runner. Here is the original description:Suzuki DR650 Up for sale today is this DR 650. Suzuki's answer to the Honda XR650. Kawasaki KLR650 and Yamaha XT600. Faster than the XR and XT and more reliable than the KLR. These are a popular and well proven trail/touring/Commuting bike.  This particular example is a DR650RSE meaning its one of the last full power early models to which a previous owner has decided to add a bit more power by fitting a K&N air filter with airbox mod. Laser Pro-Dura Sports exhaust and Dynojetted to suit! They have also added Braided hoses to help it stop a bit better too! The bike comes with a full 12 Months MOT. Keys. V5 Logbook. Workshop Manual (proper Suzuki one) some old mot's and some service history. it also comes with the original luggage Rack. Pillion Footrests. Rear Mudguard and bash plate.  The Engine DID start and run well with no smoke or nasty noises. pull strongly through the gears and performed as it should. it has just had an oil and filter change. The Brakes and Suspension are in good order. no leaks or pitting. plenty of life left on the discs and pads. the electrics all work as they should (starter switch is a bit of a bodge but works fine) the chain and sprockets have plenty of life left and the tyres are pretty much brand new having covered under 500 miles.  Cosmetically the bike is pretty clean and tidy as you can see but does have the odd scuff. mark scratch and scrape here and there as to be expected. there are no signs of any accident damage.  All in all its a good solid machine if it ran! Best of luck and Happy bidding!
