Suzuki GS500 K2 2003 MOT & TAX

 

I bought this bike when I was between jobs about 2 years ago and wanted something to do a few months dispatch riding on. I have since kept it as a commuter bike.

 

Good stuff

 

In the time I have had it I have rebuilt front and rear calipers. replaced the rear suspension cushion. changed the front disc and pads/ rear pads . all the usual maintenance. I changed the fork seals for the MOT in August and I replaced a couple of the indicators for nearly new ones.

It has 9 months MOT and tax until the end of Jan 2015.

 

It starts first time and everything works ?ˆ“ although the light in the speedo doesn?ˆ™t come on ?ˆ“ probably a bulb.

 

Not so good stuff

 

The tyres will need replacing within the year.

 

It has recently started leaking oil from the top of the engine. it?ˆ™s above the cylinder head ?ˆ“ so nothing serious. Probably a missing rocker cover bolt or maybe the gasket itself. I?ˆ™ll have a look at it (if I get time). before the end of the sale.

 

It isn?ˆ™t very pretty but will make a good winter hack.

 

Other points of note is that he bike was obviously dropped at low speed a few times in it?ˆ™s previous life as a learner bike and there is a dent in the speedo fascia. the bars are slightly bent and there are a few dinks in the tank. None of them affect performance or roadworthyness.

The bike is sold as seen with no warranty.   No haggling will take place after the sale. If you wish to see the bike before the end of the sale. please come and have a look.

 

I require a £50 deposit within 24 hours by Paypal and the rest on collection. I want the bike collected within 5 days of the sale.
