SUZUKI GSX600FW KATANA 1998 RED Sports Tourer OSWESTRY SHROPSHIRE

  Hello. This is a reluctant sale for my 1998 Suzuki GSX 600 FW . As i stated earlier i`ve owned this bike for nearly the last 10 years. It`s never let me down. It`s been my primary mode of transport for that whole period. ( but my place of work was only about 4. 5 miles away ). It`s gone through summers and winters without ever giving a problem. The only reason for selling it now is because it`s not being ridden and hasn`t been for the last 18 months or so. since i bought an 1100cc muscle bike and purchased my first car which has obviously replaced it during the winter months. It`s not been firing properly. so has had an ultrasonic carb strip-down. clean + rebuild. new plugs and the electrics checked. I now notice that the exhaust clamps have cracked so i`ve managed to find a newish S/S set of Motad downpipes. ( hen`s teeth ) at some expense !!  Due to work and other commitments i haven`t managed to fit them so. as i don`t want to see this nice bike sitting under a cover for another few months - time for someone else to enjoy it.     It has a scottoiler fitted. and the chain is in great shape. along with Goodridge braided S/S brake lines front + rear It`s had a new seat a while ago. It has ALL the receipts and service history from my 9. 5 years of ownership. The engine is in a fairly low state of tune and has come from the 600R through to the FW but it redlines at 10. 00 or so. so will last for ever so long as the oil is changed when necessary. All the indicators and lights etc are as per MOT. The tyres are virtually as new with a Continental up front + a Maxxis Supermax behind. it handles very sweetly. There is a slightly faded patch either side of the headlights due to the sun. but all the rest of it is good. ( I`ve cleaned + polished that bike after riding it ).  Please bear in mind that it might need a little bit of attention. but it`ll be well worth it !!   I`ll prefer cash on collection please. and you`ll need a vehicle for that collection.
