2002 SUZUKI GSF1200SK2 SILVER - Repairs

For sale is my Suzuki Bandit 1200s. I've owned this bike for over a year now and it has served me well commuting to work everyday through-out the year. It has been garaged through-out me owning it. Sadly. nbsp;I no longer need the bike as i have moved very close to my work and now cycle. Starts first time everytime. even in the winter. Very powerful and very fast. There are a few upgrades that have been done to the bike which are as follow:New gel battery - Holds more charge and delivers more starting power. Front and rear tyres are less then a year old. Braided brake pipes. Lipped windscreen for added wind protection. Heated GripsRear luggage rackTopboxI'm selling this as repairs for 2 reasons.  The bike was knocked over when standing still by another motorist at traffic lights. Due to this and going through insurance the bike was paid off. This was down to the scratches on the fairing and the exhaust. The bike still runs fine. this was just cosmetic damage. It is a cat C which is the lowest and most minor. As stated by insurance companies these cat's are for general damage. and in my bikes case a scratch is worth paying it off. It's absurd. Second reason is that it failed its MOT on a leaking exhaust. I was quoted to repair it would cost £200. but I simply do not have the money. time or the insurance to take it to a garage. I do not want to let the bike go for silly money as selling in parts would be over what the bike is worth. But I'm taking into account the repair cost and feel the starting price is justified. Viewings are more then welcome. A small test ride can be done as there is a small car park next to my house but as it has no MOT then road tests will not be done. If you want a test ride then i ask for a deposit to cover if you drop it. Remember. it is very big and very heavy. Any questions then please ask. This is a bid to win. not to view.
