Thank you for looking at the auction of my beloved Bandit! I have recently purchased a new more sportier bike and now need to sell the old girl. I will say that if it was possible I wouldn't sell her. I have loved owning and riding her over the last few years and would love to keep her. however financially this simply is viable for me. I work in Chiswick so the bandit has been an excellent work horse chewing away at the motorway miles. As a result the mileage is high. nbsp;however as she has been so important to my journey times i have spent money on her keeping her safe and running well. serviced every 5000 miles and all work done when needed. chain and sprockets have been replaced just over every year. again due to the mileage I have done in that time. Make no mistake. she is not mint and certainly could do with some time and TLC. I have been riding her all year round regardless of weather conditions so of course she shows signs of distress. as we all would if we were bashing through wind rain hail salt and sun every day!!! Seat could do with re covering as the front (tank) edge has split. Headlamps could do with some attention. The previous owner replaced the round lamp with twin dominators. i kept them as i love the way they look. but of course the chrome has become corroded and pitted over time. Also something to bare in mind is that they certainly don't give out the best light! So if you do large amounts of night riding maybe you should consider replacing them. The exhaust sounds great and works fine. the baffle has been removed. but this didn't affect the MOT. Rear tyre is in great condition and has not done a great deal of mileage. front tyre however needs replacing as i skipped it hen i replaced the rear. Raised rear suspension and tail tidy make her look fantastic. really aggressive. Teamed up with the wide Renthal bars the riding position is great. I found her really comfy on my long commute. and when you get that glance in a shop window you look great! I had brake issues a year ago whereupon the front right disc became warped. I replaced the disc and all is tickity boo brakes wise. I fitted heated grips to her two winters ago. best purchase I made especially as she is a naked bike so hands and body get zero protection from wind and weather. I noticed one thing. its only once you hands are nice and warm that you really notice how flipping cold the rest of your body is! Two keys. various receipts and invoices. All MOT's and V5 present. To conclude. She is far from perfect. but i love her. These bikes have such character and are fun to own and ride. With some minor time and effort spent on her she could look tip top again. Prior to my owning her she was owned by a hobby rider who kept her garaged and tucked away from the elements all winter. Sadly i was unable to continue this. Im not interested in someone coming and telling me all the things that could be better about her. I am well aware of her shortcomings! She will be sold as seen. Im afraid i cant allow test rides until i have the cash in my hand. too many horror stories Im afraid! I will start the auction with a very low price. I need to sell her and move on. I feel guilty every time i walk past her to my new bike!!! Winning bid gets her. il let the auction end. Viewing is more than welcome. just send an email and we can discuss timings. Of course any other questions just ask! If you have stuck with all this reading to the end. I thankyou! Good luck. David Finally. finally! Bank transfer. cash. cheque (once cleared). paypal all fine for payments. Listed elsewhere
