Suzuki GS 750 1978 Ratty custom

Selling my Suzi ratty chop. Why. coz I have a Honda 750 SOHC that is busting my bank and my balls. I need to raise more money to finish my commitment to the Honda.

I bought this in June as a summer ride around and it has been fun. I have a chopper hardtail frame that I was going to use this suzy as a donor for this winter. Now the Honda will be an on-going winter project instead.

Log book in my name with all digits correct. UK registered bike not an import (how rare does that seem these days). I HPI checked it when I bought it and all is fine. I put the 14" ape bars on with hidden internal wiring all working. including a kill switch. It is a great bike and a proper chopped classic. It has rust on the cans and suspension but is cheap enough to replace. would not take a lot to make her pretty. She is all there. running and MOT'd

Bad bits. I have dropped the carb bowls and cleaned jets etc but I reckon they could do with a proper clean and the timing setting properly. I don't have a strobe to do this. she runs scruffy at higher revs but I have ridden her all the same and don't thrash it anyway. I don't suggest you ride her 100miles home though until you clean carbs/ balance them/ do the points etc. Battery brand new on bike but is smaller than factory one. works just fine. starts fine.

Indicators are in the bar ends. I will throw in a set of 4 brand new indicators that I was going to fit. but you guessed it. I'm working on the Honda instead.
