2001 GSXR 1000 K1. 13. 00 miles. taxed. mot has run out last week (i dont want to ride it and get it filthy but it'll fly through)
4 owners. bought 3 yrs ago and has lived in my conservatory since only to be bought out on the occasional sunny Sunday. AS pictures show its cleaned more than ridden.
MCT suspension specialist have re-shimmed and serviced both the front forks and shock absorber to aid stability and 'plushness'=??480
New pair of tyres only 150 miles old (Metzler Sportec M7 RR) =??320
Oil and filter changed twice a year regardless of miles ridden.
Overall an excellent sports bike. an animal when revved out in the first 3 gears or will cruise in 6th gear all day long giving 45+ mpg
. Only bad points were on the machine when i purchased it. these are photographed and as follows:
Small chips on tank x3 (look to have been professionally repaired).
Slight scrape to both sides of front fairing.
Small tear on pillion seat and even smaller on riders seat.
Mini LED indicators (although these are some of the better ones seen) AS stated these were present on the machine when i bought it. have never been a problem and are hardly noticable until pointed out. Cash on collection. full amount exchanged before test rides.
