1999 SUZUKI GN125 Learner Legal

This auction is for my 1999 GN125 Suzuki. with very long MOT.

This bike was purchased a few months ago for my son to commute to work. unfortunately a couple of trips after it was bought the engine expired and it turned out the whole bottom end had gone on the engine so the bike was put in the garage and left. I recently sourced a low mileage complete engine from a 2008 bike and this engine was fitted and the bike now runs and rides without fault. The engine is very smooth and quiet and changes gear smoothly . The mileage on the bike of 32000 was the old engine I have no doubt at all the new engine has not done high mileage . it shows no signs of ever being taken apart and is very quiet.

The rest of the bike is good for its age. there is some light corrosion on the rear shock absorbers. a couple of corrosion cracks in the front mudguard and as would be expected a few small marks around the bike but as I think the pictures show the bike does look nice and tidy.

Mechanically I cannot think of any issues with the bike and it has a very long MOT until September 2015. Bike is currently SORN but tax is no longer transferable anyway. With tax the bike can happily be ridden away. Bike to be collected within 7 days of auction end please.

We would of kept the bike but my son has in the meantime ordered a new bike and with my bike and a scooter in the garage we need the room!
