suzuki gs550 cafe racer project

gs550 caf?© racer project. most of the hard work is done the electrics have been placed under the rear seat unit there is just a bit of tiding to do in there. the engine runs and sounds really nice. it has the original factory exhausts. a gs450 tank that gives it the caf?© racer look. caf?© racer drop style adjustable handlebars and a few chrome speedos. the bike has the original spoked wheels which are in good condition and a decent chrome front mudguard. there is still some work to do but this is still an easy project. the v in the centre of the frame will need a little bit of grinding and the frame could then benefit from a powder coat. I have tested the electrics after they were moved and they are working fine.

a note just to clarify. this is a project and a easy one to finish . virtually every bit is there all you will need to buy is a seat cushion and a number plate holder. the wiring was only placed in to see if the electronic ignition was working after it had been moved. this is ok but the bike will need to be completely stripped down so that the frame can be powder coated and so that some of the rough bits can be ground back. the engine was a perfect runner before the frame modification and there is no reason for this to have changed. it was only run 3 months ago. the bike can not be heard running and all the paint work will need to be done. the frame has been shortened by 5 inches and all the electrics are present. the V5 is present.
