2005 SUZUKI GSXR 1000 K5 Stealth 1 years MOT tax VGC

Please find for sale the famous GSXR100 K5 Stealth edition.  I have owned the bike for about two years. it was MOTd about three weeks ago and has tax until January.  Last service was also about three weeks ago. This was a big expensive service. and included new tyres and a new chain and sprockets. the tyres fitted are Dunlop Sportsmart 2s. which in my opinion are the best road going bike tyre available. they are not cheap though and cost well over £250 for the pair. They obviously still have plenty of life left in them. Prior to that the bike was serviced in the summer of 2014 and only did about 2000 miles between services. both of these were done by Baltech motorcycles in Reading. Prior to that the bike was serviced yearly at Chelsea scooters in London.  It has the full list of bits you would want: Full alarm and immobiliser. this gives significant discount on insurance.  Braided brake hoses front and rear.  K&N airfilterBlack double bubble screen.  Yoshimura pipe. not too loud. passes MOT easily.  Power commander which was set up with the exhaust to maximise potential. I have the dyno chart etc to show this.  Stompgrips on the tank. (If you have never tried these. they are life changing!) The previous owner had a thing about having an all black bike. so there are smoked indicators. and the rear foot pegs have been professionally powder coated black. The bike came to me with black Diamond racing foot pegs which retail around £250. and also black pazzoracing stubby levers which retail around £75. I'm a bit old school and like the originals so I put the originals back on. but I will include the black ones incase the buyer prefers them.  I have the original exhaust. a bunch of paperwork the rear seat hump etc. all of which is included.  The bike has covered 24000 miles give or take. which is nothing for these engines. I had one previously with 40000miles on it and it was as strong as anything. It has had the recent master brake cylinder recall done at Powerbiking in Newbury The only issues I can see with the bike are that the casing on one side of the engine is losing paint as is a common thing with these bikes. also I have recently noticed a small amount of liquid from the front os fork. so the seal may be on it's way out. I haven't bothered doing the seal as they sometimes fix themselves or aren't a problem. The job is usually about £100 worth to do both forks if the new owner does decide to do it. there are a few really small stone chips etc as you would expect for a bike of it's age but nothing I could get to show up in a photograph. so nothing you'll notice.  I shall be sad to see this great bike go. I have loved owning it. and it is as fast as anything new nowadays. and lighter than most new bikes. it's also very comfy over distance and mechanically superbly reliable. My working circumstances have changed and I need to liberate some cash. otherwise I would not be selling this! I have had two previous GSXR1000s and I love them.  The bike is garaged in Reading in Berkshire where it has spent it's years with me. The previous owner kept the bike garaged at his place. so I don't think it's seen too much rain.
