Description

Spares or repairs only! No mot and tax. Paint rough. lumpy at idle but runs alright otherwise. Paintwork on fuel tank flaking but does not leak. Noticed a small oil leak whilst its been out of use - possibly from the sump plug. Front tire in good condition. Battery new this year and is kept on an optimiser . I bought a new bike so decided not to put through an MOT. Will need a new back tire and fork seals to get through hence spares and repairs. I was riding this to work on a daily basis until the end of August and getting 60-70 mpg. Its a hack bike so you should come and see it if you intend to bid as it is sold as seen!

A couple of extra things you should know:1) The seal on the fuel filler cap has detached but is still seated and still seals. It's never caused a  problem for me. However. if you wanted to replace the seal I have  one but it'll still be attached to another fuel tank! You'd need to strip it off and I have no idea how to do it because it was never a problem. 2) I always keep the fuel tap set to prime when it's running because I don't think the vacuum is what it was. I have some spares that I'll throw in:A Stator and the appropriate gasket. (I thought it had failed but it turned out to be the regulator). A K&N air filter (works fine but needs cleaning)A set of new fork seals. A fuel tank that I bought when the paint started flaking off the original one. It's turned out to be the wrong year and so has the wrong mounts but as mentioned above it has the same filler cap.

I had a set of new spark plug that were intended to be fitted for the new year service so they have now been fitted. Also. the small oil leak mentioned above is from the oil filter cover not the sump plug. I have tightened up the bolts but if that doesn't fix it then a new seal is always supplied with the oil filter and should be changed anyway.

I was reminded when I gave it a run this morning that you can sometimes get some smoke whilst it's warming up. this always passes once it is warm.
