Here is my Suzuki gsx550es 1985 36k on the clock French imported moons ago. I bought this to commute on but after a couple of weeks have decided to use my other bike because this is just TOOOO. good to use daily although if that's what you wish then by all means?? but due to its really really clean condition it deserves to be kept this way for as long as possible I think. And being this good at 29!!! then it is becoming a real classic to own keep ride and love .

THE GOOD BITS

RIDES SMOOTH ALL GEARS ARE FINE NO FINAL DRIVE WHINE OR ANYTHING UNTOWARDLIGHTS ETC AND EVEN MORE IMPORTANTLY GEAR SELECTOR LIGHT IS FINE AS WELL AND IS PROPER 80'S COOLSEAT IS PERFECT TANK IS DENT FREE!!ALL ORIGINAL BODYWORK FRESH MOT NEW BATTERY NEW REG RECTIFIER AS NOTED AS WEAK SPOT ON THIS BIKE SO ALL GOODNEW IGNITER/CDI ALSO NOTED AS WEAK SPOT + A SPARE WORKING FINE ALSO THROWN IN FRESH OIL/PLUGS REAR SHOCK WORKS JUST FINE AND IS FULLY ADJUSTABLE FROM THE SIDE OF THE BIKE ALSO 80'S COOLNO AND I MEAN NO ENGINE NOISES AT ALL . RUNS NEAR SILENT AS NEW NETA 4 INTO 1 EXHAUST . THE ONLY NON ORIGINAL BIT ON THE BIKE NEW FRONT PAD'S CLASSIC EBC's FITTED AT HIGH EXPENSE. AS NEW REAR AND FRONT BRIDGESTONES BT45'S. NEW SIDE LIGHT AND HEADLIGHT BULBS (remember I was going to use this through winter)

BAD BITS as there always is.

AS IT EUROPEAN THE FUEL TAP COVER IS MISSING?? purely cosmetic purpose.  FEW MARKS AND CRACKS HERE AND THERE BUT HARDLY NOTICABLE UNLESS STANDING ON THE BIKE VARIOUS LUGS REPAIRED ON PANELS ESP SIDE PANELSNOTICED TODAY THE LEFT FORK LEG IS MISTING (seal has NOT gone)FRONT BRAKES ARE NOT BRILL EVEN AFTER FITTING NEW PADS AND GOOD CLEANMOT ADVISORY TO REPLACE A SUSPENSION BUSH THAT AS FAR AS I CAN SEE DOES NOT EXIST??  JUST BEING HONEST NOT SURE IF ANTI DIVE WORKS NOSE FAIRING CRACKED UNDERNEATH BUT YOU HAVE TO LIE ON THE FLOOR AND LOOK UP SOME DONUT HAS OVER PAINTED THE ENGINE BEHIND THE HEAD BUT IT LOOKS GOOD STILLREAR MUDGUARD HAS BEEN VANDALISED BY A MUPPET ITS BEEN SHORTENED TIS ALL. VARIOUS BITS AND BOBS LEFT TO DO TO MAKE IT 100% ORIGINAL 

Like I have said this bike is in lovely condition and is an appreciating classic it isn't blisteringly fast but has enough poke to make you smile and the riding position is lovely no aches or pains to ride it and the handling is perfectly adequate.

this bike has been cared for and used sparingly . I alone have spent ??ss because I couldn't help myself but decided its to good to use daily and already I have another hack for the that job .
