This very rare and much sought after tax exempt 1971 Suzuki T350R Rebel has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life ?ˆ“ the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to machinery than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 4469 miles and has been in dry storage for the last umpteen years have helped maintain its boyish good looks. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES. As you can see this bike is very nearly complete missing just the L/h side panel. The bike has obviously stood a while so the paint is faded. seat cover & tyres are perished. naturally battery is flat. BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS. The bike is very original & every bit as nice as it looks here. The wheels are straight with clean chrome rims. good hubs & brake plates. Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome. Mudguards are both solid with minor dens/scuffs. Tail light assy is good as is the headlight ?ˆ“ hangers have stress fractures but will repair/chrome. Instruments & switches look great. Mirrors are originals & tidy. Fuel tank & side panel are faded but tank is squeaky clean inside. Carburetors are free sliding off the twist grip. Exhaust system is original & solid. Seat base feels in very good condition throughout. Chain guard is tidy. The engine is cosmetically very clean. it turns over nicely off the kick starter ?ˆ“ sounds/feels great & has compression ?ˆ“ When we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it a few squirts of ether it starts & runs. REGISTRATION

1. You need to get the bike MOT?ˆ™d.

2. You need to prove the year of manufacture in writing. Phone Suzuki UKs customer support on 0500 011959 (press opt 2 & opt 2 again) with the Model type. frame & engine Numbers. they will organize an application for a dating letter ?ˆ“ there is a charge for this service.

3. You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on the chassis number.

4. Send all this paper work to the DVLA. who will charge you ??55 for the 1st registration & the current amount for the road tax.

5. The DVLA will send you your age related registration number.
