1969 Suzuki TS 250First year of production known as "Savage" in U. S or "Hustler" in Japan. I have re-listed this item because I thought it was a 1971 model. I received an email by a knowledgeable enthusiasts stating that it was either a 1969 or 1970 model. After some research I confirmed that the bike was a 1969 because of following information:- 1969 model is 127kg as stated on its chassis number tag in picture. On the other hand. the 1970 model is 121kg. 1969 was the only year that TS250's weighed 127 kg. - 1969 model has frame number starting at l0001. This frame number is 14858. - 1970 was known as TS250II because it was second year of production. 1969 was known as TS250 as stated on this chassis number tag. 1969 Suzuki TS 250This vintage dirt bike is the perfect project to restore due to its rarity and uniqueness. I found this bike inside an indoor storage facility in Connecticut recently where the owner abandoned the bike for at least 15 years. The owner had no knowledge of the bike. and could not find its title. Nontheless. I bought the bike. brought it home. and got it running strong and driving good. After some research. I concluded that it is a 1969 model "Savage". which is the most desirable model years because it was its first year of production. I had the intentions to fully restore the bike. but due to time restraints it had limited to do so.
