Description

Hello - for sale my Lucky Strike VJ23A. Reason for sale- we are moving to Australia. and the compliance police won't allow this beast to be ridden on the road. plus I had to choose between another bike and this one. Location of Bike - it is with myself and Fiancee in Uganda. although Jo is moving back to Manchester for three months in January so the bike will be able to be shipped to her or direct to you. Shipping cost via air - approx 1000 pounds if it is crated and shipped in pictured condition. It can be broken down. plastics removed. wheels removed. and made smaller to get the cost to around approx 600 pounds. How do I know this. because the other bike. Honda NSR250 MC28 has the same cost. Shipping is the buyers expense. The bike detailsVIN - VJ23A-101018. all the research I have done places this as a genuine Lucky Strike bike. the plastics have the Suzuki markings as do the exhausts. http://www. rgv250. co. uk/index. html/_/articles/vj23-production-data-r21The good. it has been stored inside for the past two years. and ran when stored. The bad. at some point in its past. on it's right side minor scratching on the exhaust and right fairing as per the photographs. The rear tail box is cracked and requires a competent repair person. Other than that. it is a premix bike. the previous to me owner took the oil bottle off and then promptly lost it :-(The more astute of you will notice the missing fairing fasteners. I have all of them. but because it is broken down as stored. I did not put them all back in. also the air cleaner box is being washed and cleaned and is there as well. and will be reinstalled this evening. Now - I know. that at least 90% of you are thinking scam. but it's not. this is a genuine sale. I would rather she goes to the UK where she can be ridden and enjoyed for the collector's item she is.   For that reason you can contact me at tony@v8ironhorse. com and I can send you any more pictures you need. want or otherwise. The starting price reflects that it is a considerable shipping cost. but where else will you get one of these ?Payment will be by direct deposit to a UK Santander account only. Shipping is the buyers expense - but I will work it all here for you at this end. The bike is also for sale locally - so the auction / sale may end early if sold. ( I am hoping not ! )
