For sale is my beloved 2001 Suzuki GSXR600 (K1)

MOT until 06/2015 (with no advisories on the last MOT)

Mileage: 21. 57

This bike is an absolute blast to ride! On anything from my local twisties to taking the bike touring (on a 4 day trip round Wales in the summer). it has never missed a beat and can’t help to put a smile on my face. GSXR’s have never been considered slow but will a full Akrapovic exhaust system and a Power Commander III fitted. this bike is certainly quick with the soundtrack to match – now producing 113 horse power (dyno print out included in the paperwork)!

Throughout its life this bike has been well looked after (it is currently garaged) and improved with a range of additions including:

-        Full Akrapovic Exhaust System

-        Power Commander III (Set up on a Dyno – Printout included in bike paperwork)

-        Aftermarket tail tidy and tail-lights

-        Datatag protection system fitted.

-        Pillion seat cowl (no pillion seat with this bike but aftermarket ones are easily available on ebay)

-        Givi Topbox rack and Topbox (removable as replaces the pllion seat)

-        Hepco and Becker Electric Tank Ring (for Bag Connection tankbag – included in sale)

-        K&N Air Filter (service kit included in the sale)

-        Goodrich braided brake lines

-        LED Indicators

-        Gear Indicator

-        Crash Bungs

-        Rear brake pads recently changed (November)

As previously mentioned. I used the bike for a tour in Wales and so I fitted it with a Hepco-Becker Bags Connection electric tank-ring and Givi rack (converted from the pillion seat). If I get the full asking price for the bike I will include the Givi topbox and Bags Connection tankbag in the sale. see pictures (if not these will need to be sold separately).

The bike will also be supplied with the following:

-        Original Suzuki GSXR owners manual

-        Haynes workshop manual

-        Datatag paperwork

-        Dyno printout (showing Power Commander III set up)

Unfortunately there are a few cosmetic marks on the bike. not surprising for a bike of this age. I have tried to show all of these in the pictures and listed them below but none of these have any impact on the way the bike runs or rides.

-        Damage to front fairing – Car door opened into the front of the bike when being used by a previous owner.

-        Crack in front mudguard around fixing bolts

-        Paint flaking on wheel rims

-        Slight scratches to Akrapovic logo on exhaust

-        Marks to right side fairing where the larger exhaust has been fitted underneath.

The only reason I am parting with the bike is that my car has packed up so I need to find the money to replace it from somewhere!
