Description

See my reputation. I have always described every item I have sold here with great detail and have nothing to hide. Same will be true here. I often buy bikes when I find a good deal and ride them a few months and then get rid of them. I get bored easily and it's that simple. The tag on this bike is real. thus I have registered and insured it because I have ridden/will ride it. I have a day job and selling bikes is not it. so please do your research. ask your mom. your wife. your bank. or your club BEFORE you bid. I am not trying to make my mortgage payment off this bike. I do not need a blender. four lawnmowers and a bit of cash. Read the payment details BEFORE you bid. I absolutely assure you I give what I get. That should comfort those who are serious. I have had the bike assessed by the appraiser at one of the national auction houses. It scored an 86 and the reserve is set at what I was told by him the bike would bring at the local auction. Yes there would be fees. I am familiar with all of the financial issues. so don't try and bargain. either you want it and have the money or you don't. If you've read this far and haven't clicked to the next Hyabusa. let's get to the bike. The last photo is to show that my garage is only filled with quality bikes and this one is no different rebuilt title included. The story I was given by the lady who has been riding this bike (her husband is in an MC who rides Hyabusas) was that the guy that bought it dumped it at low speed at around 1k miles. Bike was totaled out by insurance company and rebuilt by someone unknown. She bought it from the guy who purchased it from the insurance company. The bike has an active GA "rebuilt" title meaning it has been inspected in GA but was rebuilt in SC who inspected it as well. as I understand it. I have personally ridden the bike 350 or so miles and gotten to 140mph on the interstate. This bike does everything it is supposed to do. just like it is supposed to do it. Mechanically it is PERFECTLY sound. Hauls ass and turns like it is on rails. No vibrations. wobbles or quirks. Completely stock except brake/clutch levers and windshield and paint. Bike is painted what I would call an "electric" blue with silver metal flake front to rear. They even painted the windscreen. I doubt anything internal has been done. The cans and pipes have been painted with black ceramic exhaust paint by me just because I think it looks better. I think doing a "good" and "bad" is relative. so I will just go from front to back and be very descriptive and honest. I have changed the oil and flushed the clutch. Has Michelin Pilot Power on front and rear both with what I would say is 85% tread. Both rims stock and no dents or rash. Calipers appear stock as do lines. It's so stock it still has the side reflectors as you can see. Seat is perfect and still has tool kit inside that is complete. All four pegs are good. no rash. hand/foot levers clean. hand levers adjustable as seen. Stock grips with bar end sliders. Chain looks stock and is lubed by me. Clutch engages and grabs like it is supposed to. got 43mpg last little 80 mile ride I did a few days ago. mostly interstate and mostly in the throttle. Stock headlight both high/low. All controls work as supposed to. All indicator lights and gauges work perfectly. It still has the ugly tag holder/rear fender under and even the front and rear side reflectors. FRONT to BACK body: The close ups of some of the pics make it appear that there are lots of white spots of road rash or the like in the paint. that is NOT the case. This bike has silver metal flake in the paint and those white spots are of the flake. NOT of road rash. Someone has marked into most scratches of any size with what looks to be a sharpie either black or blue depending on where the scratch is located. A couple of scratches on the frame appear to have been covered over with a gloss touch up paint. From 20 feet away you can't see any of them. they are visible up close. NONE have anything to do with function. they are only cosmetic. ALL ARE SHOWN IN PICTURES on purpose. Front fender has one scratch colored in. upper fairing has two that are colored in as seen. tank has a couple very small ones around bottom (suspect tank was taken off and reworked before painting). again some of the pics have shadows that make it seem the tank has a dent or two but I assure you it does NOT. the tach lens has a crack. the right side fairing has several scratches shown in photos. the frame has a couple scratches (more like from the riders getting off and on or something rubbing against it rather than from a wreck. the rear fairing has a couple of "fine" scratches on the right side and a scratch on the "top" not seen until you remove the rear "bubble". The right mirror has a scratch on the lower right that is surely from the initial wreck. You can see that they painted over the "Suzuki" sticker on the upper fairing and that the Hyabusa "logo" is only on the right side and the "GSXR 1300" logo is only on the left side. that's the best. most honest description I can give of any defects. They are all cosmetic and. again. noticeable from 10feet or closer. The bike could absolutely be ridden and kept "as is" and I have no doubt will run forever. The fairings DO NOT need to be replaced. but I would paint them. They will not require much body work. I do not see any cracks/splits or other defects in any of them. Photos show both the painted windscreen and a smoked "double bubble" that I also have. You can have whichever one you want. just let me know once purchased which one you prefer. PayPal deposit due immediately with remainder due within 3 days of auction close in the form of cash in hand or postal money order. Apparently idiots are now forging cashiers checks that initially deposit only to be discovered forged days after deposit. Postal money orders or cash. have I said that yet? NO I won't take it all by PayPal because they take too many fees and hold the money too long. I will. immediately upon payment. sign and send the title and GA bill of sale to wherever you wish (certified mail with a tracking number) and will gladly assist you in shipping in any way necessary within reason. I have a guy that does stuff in the Southeast that I would be glad to put you in touch with that I use who always gives me a good deal. Whether or not he will do the same for you is not my deal. You get the point I hope. I would ABSOLUTELY ride this bike anywhere. meaning that if you choose to fly into ATL and ride it home it would not give me a minutes pause and I have no interest in you ending up on the side of the road. That's it. this is a steal for someone who wants a solid bike to customize. one to ride as a full time bike. or just to have as an extra. Thanks for reading. I do not have the bike for sale locally beyond word of mouth so I will remove the listing unless the reserve is met and the bike sells otherwise. If the reserve is met I will let it go here. THE RESERVE IS LOWER THAN THE BUY IT NOW FYI. If it doesn't sell here. I will not do anything until Spring and the price will go up even though it will surely have more miles on it. KBB trade in value is $5470 and retail is $7920. Yes I know those are for "clean" title bikes. so don't bid if you don't think this price is fair. It's pretty simple. If you find one that you want to email me about that is priced "better" or you think is a "better" deal. then bid on it and not this one. Great bike irrespective of the money and I don't say that lightly being a life long Harley guy and never really understanding why guys rode these things. You'll see from the last picture that I have another one that is. well. a bit customized which is to say that I understand how much fun these things are and how much respect they deserve.
