Classic GS1000 excellent original condition

I have up for sale a 1978 Suzuki GS 1000 in excellent original condition. This bike is a survivor! It is 90% original and not restored. The only parts that are not original are the upgraded Fox shocks. lectronic ignition(stock pts. & plate included). -ring chain. prockets. ires and battery. That's the original seat. ank. aint and exhaust. Even the bars and mirrors are original! This is pretty much a one owner bike as I just picked it up about 6 months ago from the original owner. Since I've owned it I've done a complete service including valve adjust. il & filter change. lug change and carb. adjust and it runs great! I also changed the tires and battery as well as rebuilding the forks and brakes. Suzuki was the last of the big for four to enter the super bike wars of the 70's and 80's and they built the better bike of its day. It was faster and was the first bike from Japan that actually handled. This is the first year of the 1000 from Suzuki which adds to its collectability. It still is a good ride with a smooth torquey and relatively fast motor. pright comfortable seating position and good handling with upgraded suspension. Also included with the bike is a full touring package including a Vetter full fairing. amsonite hard bags and top trunk. wners and shop manual and original tool kit. The only negatives are the front fender has some dings. ome of the wires under the tank have been reconnected with quick connecters (professionally done and everything works as it should) and there are some very minor creases in front down tubes where previous owner over tightened fairing clamps (not a problem as the frame is still straight. and rides true). Otherwise it is in excellent condition with nice chrome and no leaks. There's not many if any left out there in this condition. I'm also open to a local bike trade. Thanks. Happy bidding!
