Saddens me to do so. but I must part ways my beloved bike. I've been very occupied with school lately and will be moving away soon. At best. I'm able to ride her once a week. Backstory: I bought this bike almost exactly a year ago from a worker of the US Department of Defense. He took great care of it and had moved on to a newer Yamaha R1. He gave me many pages of maintenance records; sadly. I've misplaced them and am unable to locate. Since then. I've mostly used the bike for commute between school. work. and home (few miles a day in stop and go traffic. not much highway action). She's saved me a lot of gas/parking money and time in traffic. The good:-Clean title in my name-Registered til Jan 2015 (going on non-op. no late registration fees)-25k miles (only an average of 2. xx miles a year)-0 drops/falls during my ownership. May have been dropped before because the frame slider is partially shaved off and the stator cover has some scratching. But no noticeable damage/cracks/scratches to the fairings or body of the bike. Most of the motorcycle is spotless and in great condition. -0 wheelies/stunting (I know many people say this. but this is a genuine statement. This is simply a commuter bike for me. No canyoning/cruising/stunting/etc)-Aftermarket tail lights installed by previous owner. -Black windscreen. -Sprockets/chain are in good condition and don't seem to need replacing anytime soon. -Above average tread on both tires. with the front tire being an almost new Pirelli Rosso that I bought. -New EBC brake pads (couple hundred miles on em)-D&D race pack exhaust. Bike is very loud. 100% saved me from a few inattentive motorists. so to an extent. im a big believer of "loud pipes saves lives. "The not as good:-The bike will need fork seals ($20 if you do it yourself) and fork fluid. as I believe most of it has leaked out recently. thus making the front suspension rather harsh and bouncy. A front suspension/steering tune up would definitely help. -Needs an oil change. All in all. a very solid bike that'll take you where you need to go without any problems. Been well maintained throughout its life. just needs a loving new owner who will give her the attention/tlc she needs. I can provide additional photos/videos of the bike in action if needed. All that being said. this auction is as-is. Come see the bike if you can; you wont be disappointed! Feel free to contact me @ 1-818-245-0434. Thanks for looking. and happy new years!
