This is a '75 Suzuki 550GT. I started on it a few years ago and ran out of good weather to get every bug out. The main problem is the center carb. When it is doing the right thing. this bike feels very strong and wants to go. Had I not run out of good weather I would have checked the carb for fuel blockage. Whenever I spray a little fuel into the intake it comes to life and raps very quickly. All the gears work nicely and the lights all work. I did move the ignition switch (see picture) to the left side. on the frame. below the side panel cover. the bike starts with a few kicks. (electric starter is not hooked up) I think it might be OK. not sure. No turn signals. I removed them. The gas petcock is a little mixed up as "off" is "on" according to the letters. but no big deal. I never did any tuning after installing the air cleaner pods. This is a cool bike for someone who can work on (or has a friend) that can work on 2-cycle engines. I probably have driven the bike 75-100 miles and it's fun. gets a lot of attention. The seat is a trials seat. so I wouldn't suggest taking a long trip without a soft pillow. but I built it for the street. I need the space in my garage. so this is the one that will have to go (since it is the latest). I did install decals on the tank. that's when I discovered the air bubble under the "u" in Suzuki on the right side. It might be in the paint or on the decal. no leaks from the tank. nd the bubble is not noticeable. That's pretty much the whole story. the bike is sold "as is". Buyer is responsible for pick-up or shipping. No International Sales. No Reserve. Good luck. if you have any questions. let me know. I'm not a 2-cycle mechanic. but I'll answer the best I can.
