1999 SYM CITY HOPPER

Here we have for sale my Sym City Hopper 49cc Scooter. It was purchased for my son to use to gain some road experience while learning to drive. however he wasnt keen. and went straight into a car. Since then apart from the odd in and out of my garage its not been used since May. The Scooter is officially yellow on the log book. but it has been re sprayed in silver as the yellow colour was not too attractive!All electrics work. it has an electric start as well as kick start. I have not done a great deal to it. but I know the previous owner (who was a friend) had changed the brake pads. coil pack and battery prior to me buying it. It will start and idle first time. but it wont rev as it should. it smells as if its running a bit rich to me. but I'm no expert where Scooters are concerned. The Scooter has covered 8200 kilometers. it has good tyres and is generally in good but used condition.  All in all. I'm sure it will run given a bit of TLC and some Scooter know how. there are millions of spares available. or it could used itself for spares. but I think its a bit too good for that?
