Description

Triumph Trophy 3 900 cc in good working condition. MOT Apr 15. Last advisories were front discs but it has seen very little use so would expect same again. I have had this bike as a streetfighter pictures are included of its various guises but is currently faired and vinyl wrapped in matt black. The clock is in KM not miles it has done 105. 00 km.  Or approx 65000 miles these engines have done lots more and this seems fine. I have a video of it running if you are interested I can upload to youtube. Good points:Reliable workhorse. Is great fun to ride and really forgiving. Tyres have approx 2000 miles on them. New timing chain. New tensioner spring and replacement body. Head gasket replaced approx 3000 miles ago. Brake pads good. Fork seals replaced under 1000 miles and about 5 months. Comes with Haynes manual. dominator twin headlights and screen complete with fork brackets and indicators. Bad points:Bodywork is a bit tired.  Plastics are damaged and have many scratches and gouges. (hence the vinyl wrap)Center stand is completely corroded and needs replacing but will work if pushed. I don't use or trust it. Battery will need changing. if I was keeping it I would have changed it for summer.  It works if the bike is used regularly but will need to be changed soon. Seat has damage. small tear. Petrol tap does not work.  (No leaks and it runs fine just cannot be primed or turned to reserve)Tank has a couple of small dinks in it I knocked it off a chair when full!Wheels will need re painting or replacing as they are very marked but are solid and work fine. Chain and sprockets will need replacing for next MOT.  Currently working and room to adjust chain but there are a couple of slightly tight spots. Foot peg toppers are corroded.  Will need replacing soon. The rear rack is currently held steady by a jubilee clip.  Works but may put some off. The brakes tend to bind a bit in cold weather but loosen up fine once warm. they may need a bit of silicon grease but this was done last winter Available for viewing at your discretion. This is a 20+ year old bike and shows it.  It is solid and reliable but don't expect a stunner. Only selling due to needing a car for commuting these frosty mornings are hard work. I am being totally honest with this listing and expect the same from my buyers. if you bid you bid to buy. not haggle. Non paying bidders will be reported.
