1953 Triumph 6T Thunderbird Chopper Drag Bike !!! NO RESERVE AUCTION !!!!

1953 Triumph 6T Thunderbird Chopper Drag Bike This bike is fitted with a T&M full "B" Range  650 engine built to full T&M specs. also it comes with its original matching S/N cases. original parts book. crank & set of Harmon & Collins 6937 cams with gears. & a spare trans. a generator/regulator the T&M engine has the following: T&M specs book. Ported & polished heads with SS valves. aluminium cyl bored to . 030 over. 10:1 pistons high capacity oil pump. H&C 6739 & H&C 6534 (T&M cams #9 int #6 exh)  with overlap. (cross flow)  little lopey but a good mix. lucas red label racing magneto with solid gear. ightened and ballance crank. lightened & beveled timing gears 1-3/4" exhaustBike has new paint. Graphx. stirping.  color is Black with Gold graphx & striping. This was our first drag bike. it last ran at LIONS DRAG STRIP 1964 All Bike Drags it ran in the 11's.   it hung a piston and cracked the cyls where it bolts down to the cases.    the T&M eng it should run in the 10's  Reason for selling her is medical & dental expenses. + I am 74 yrs old and can't kick start it. &  my reactions are not what they used to be  LOL!!I have listed it with a lot of pictures please look them over some are for comparison of stock crank and timing gears to show diff between T&M  & stock & internals. PLEASE READ THIS !!! the bike is a work in progress & still needs a few items & work to make it streetable. also I have left the head and valve gear loose in order to retime the cams and magneto this is easier with the head off and cam followers open in order to set it up all the info on timing and set up are in the T&M specs book. I will furish new gasket set for it. the tires on it are rollers and will need replacement. it will need the wiring completed it is up to its new owner what to do with it . either a straight out drag bike. or street. or combination. it would make a great  nostalgia drag bike lots of fun and nobody is out to tear up their bikes. The bike is sold as is where is. no warranty. or returns.  Bike has a clean Califorina title. please ask questions. all will be answered thru this add. so all can see.
