Classic Triumph 500 Twin ((5TA)

This classic Triumph 500 twin motorcycle is a reluctant sale. owever she finally has to go as she is blocking the access to my work bench which I need for other projects. I bought this bike some years ago to commute the three miles to my local railway station (free parking for bikes!) I fitted a brand new Amal carb and she ran like a dream until one day the kick-start spring snapped. I bought a replacement but somehow have never got around to fitting it. The engine turns over fine and I make a point of doing so regularly when I have to move her out of the way. This is not a concourse machine. but would make an interesting project. She always drew a lot of interest whenever I road her. A very comfortable ride she is easy to control and I have never dropped her. As a historic vehicle she is exempt from Road Tax and does not require an MOT certificate. The insurance is very reasonable (?69 fully comp for me)As stated she does need some attention to get her roadworthy. so her new owner would need to collect her in a van or on a trailer. I cannot offer test rides. but am more than happy for people to view at a convenient time by prior arrangement. I do have a variety of spare parts and manuals which will also go with her.
