1950 Triumph 3T. Pre-Unit Sprung Hub Model. V5C. VGC. Good Runner. Rare Classic

This is a 1950 Triumph 3T. This is a pre unit 350cc overhead valve twin. The bike is matching engine and frame numbers with a current V5C present on an age related none transferable number. Its tax and MOT exempt. This bike is in pretty tidy condition. but its not mint. I. describe it as clean and usable. These are one of the most attractive post war 350cc machines made. They are extremely popular and quite rare as there was a trend to run these into TR5s as the TR5 used the same frame. This is the small nacelle model. with the tank top parcel grid and the dart board speedo fitted. Extremely attractive styling bands tank and very nice lines. The bike starts and runs fine. very quiet engine. easy starter. pulls well. I couldn. see that it was charging. Its got painted rims. but I don. know if that isn. as it should have been as the wheels do look like they have been re-built. so this looks to be by choice. It looks to have had a new exhaust system at some point. Basically. this bike comes across as an older restoration that's still in decent usable condition. but just isn. quite mint. I think if this was polished and maybe re-painted. this could be mint for not a lot of effort. Just polishing the cases would really make a big difference on its own. So there is scope to improve this cosmetically as well. So. this is a going concern. registered. quite tidy and pretty much ready to go. These bikes are light. low. quiet. easy to use. very under-stressed and one of the most attractive 350s going.
