Purchased in the U. K.   for a summer of touring thru England. Ireland. Scotland.

Returned home to San Francisco California.

Servicing dealer Monroe Motors who is still in business today.

Note the rare "Large" CA licence plate. Along with Monroe Motors licence plate frame.   

Most of the rubber parts. fork gaiters. foot peg rubber. kick lever rubber. are cracked etc.

Motorcycle has sat for several years. installed a new battery. check fluids. added gas. started up after 4 kicks.

I would advise a full service & inspection prior to putting in to service.

This is a honest 1970 Bonneville some argue the last of the "good ones" built in Meriden U. K.

This machine has not been molested or abused.

It was cherished by the original owner until his health declined.

Bike was then put properly placed put in storage.

A very good canidate for preservation or restoration.
