Description

Available for your consideration is a 1976 Triumph T140 Bonneville 750. Just a few years ago you would not been able to pry this find away from me. Of course after 4 months of hospital stay and poor health I get a call and end up with this beauty of a find. I been a scoot guy all my life any make or model I do not care. The more odd the better. But I really appreciate where it started. Triumph. BSA. Norton. Harley. Moto Guzzi to name a few. I've owned BSA. Triumphs. Harleys. Excelsior Henderson's. Honda's. BMW's and a few others. Anyway got to love these Triumphs. When I heard about this one I'm like no way. First year the employee's owned the company. 1st year shifter on left side. 1st year disc brakes. so cool. Then I see the bike. Unfortunately the guy who owned it passed and he was an old school scoot guy as most Triumph guys were. His gal had no use for the bike and here it is I own it. Cant ride it. cant kick it. but I own it and love looking at it. So cool. As all you Triumph guys know. So now I can tell the story for years and say I owned it and now sell it. Guess that is how it works. Clean bike. Oil in frame bike as most of you know. When I bought it I thought man gonna paint it get the right pipes. gonna go hog wild. The longer I owned it the more I thought back in the day we did things to these scoots for reasons. We made them our own so I decided it was too cool to change. So I left the orange paint which up close looks poor quality not bad for back then but not anywhere near todays standards and the pipes are shortys with a crossover welded in for backpressure to run strong. Hey does not look like todays triple chrome 1000. 00 exhaust but it was what it was back then. Little ding lower part of frt fender which could come out and be unnoticed with someone spending some time on it and the only other item that needs attention is on the headlamp ring is a scuff and dent. Otherwise you are good to go. Nice chrome. Nice tires. Nice rims. Nice bike. Pictures say a million words. Engine is awesome!!!! Has a service manual that comes with the scoot. Probably taking a chance but I truly believe this bike will sell it self so I am gonna sell it No Reserve to the Highest Bidder!!! High Bidder owns it!!! Don't want to screw anyone around with reserves and you not knowing if I want some crazy amount and you not ending up wit this bike. I owned it. Had fun with it and have a story to tell. Can't ride it so might as well get the money out of it. Straight up motorcycle that has a great look. They do not come along like this often anymore. Most are usually all hacked up and have no clue what your ending up with. A great vintage 1976 Triumph Bonneville 750. You can enjoy and watch go up in value. I have a clear Ohio title signed and notarized. This bike is available for viewing at anytime during the auction by appointment.  If you purchase and are having shipped I will assist coordinating with your shipper and give assistance in safe loading. Thanks for viewing. Any questions please ask. Thank you.
