TRIUMPH T110 1961 --- Pre-unit, duplex, 650 twin.

 Triumph Tiger 110 - 1961- Duplex Frame - Pre-unit. Great bike. all chrome good apart from the l/h front brake's chrome trim/disc which is a little bit pitted. All paintwork is good. Tangerine and cream. Has a 9 stud ally' head with a single Monobloc Carburettor.  Lucas K2F Magneto. (Auto advance/retard)Has both side and centre stands. The engine and frame numbers are original and matching - both are T110 D10747 and the registration is PRN 742 which is transferable so I guess that may be its original registration number. Has Valante alloys fitted front and rear with Metzeler ME11 tyres - both excellent. 12 Volt lighting. everything works. lights. horn. brake light. good charge from the alternator. Tax was until March this year so it's been on the road but not been used very much as I tend to use a much older bike mostly. The bike was delivered new on the 21st December 1960 to Messrs Parish of Preston. (VMCC - factory records). V5 in my name. This really is a great old bike. starts instantly (first kick). no smoke. good oil pressure. ticks over hot or cold no trouble. it's very fast and sounds fantastic. a real Triumph twin exhaust note. Clutch is good. gears select as they should. brakes are good. 12v h/light means you can use it comfortably at night. steering is as it should be. No quirks. Nice comfortable. fast bike and very easy to put on its centre stand. It's the type you press down with your foot and pull at at the same time.
