Over the next couple of months I'm reluctantly going to be liquidating my motorcycle literature. parts and projects. This 1976 T140 Bonneville has many possibilities. Pull the engine for a Triton ? Restore it to its former glory ? Part it out and make a few $$$$'s. I bought it several years ago and as I get older the reality sets in that there's no way I can restore all the bikes I have so you'll be seeing many of them here on eBay. The good points of this project are matching numbers. near perfect chrome on the wheels. nice set of forks. undented tank. a cool Bud Ekins license plate frame and of course the 5-speed transmission. The bike is exactly as I got it and I know the alternator is missing. it has no carbs or inlet manifolds. tachometer is missing. Buyer should assume the engine will need a complete rebuild. Please look at the pictures closely. As far as the title goes. THERE IS NO TITLE !! THERE IS NO TITLE !! THERE IS NO TITLE !! THERE IS NO TITLE !! THERE IS NO TITLE !! THERE IS NO TITLE !!. Hopefully that makes that clear :) I've had good luck with title services and also with Vermont DMV. IT DOES NOT RUN !!!
