Hey guys. got to admit I've collected too many things and something gotta go. Unfortunately its a motorbike this time and its my Triumph Speed Triple 955i (w reg 2000) that has to go. Owned this bike since Jan 2013 as I told myself I would regret not buying (We all had one?) and haven't one bit. Mates can tell you. this bike has never had money being an issue for parts/servicing. She has since had a 300mm carbon stubby can fitted which really brings out her unique triple cylinder engine. Bar end mirrors (had some other aftermarket ones if they are not too your taste) and a few carbon fiber parts all over (Hugger. rad covers. idiot light cover). During the brake overhaul. she got a part of Gen Triumph CNC brake res. front and back. the overhaul consisted of new seals for the salves and new pistons and seals for the masters with a new rear pipe. She has a metal number plate to give a retro feel but do have the plastic one still. She has been garage serviced during my ownership. last at Moore Speed back in April/May (basic service and tappets checked) before her last MOT which is also due at the end of May (Can passed on the bike as it road legal). Issue on the last mot was the rear suspension linkage was came off and was cleaned then regreased. There is a patchy service history. some which happened at Three Legged Cross and Moore Speed from her past 4 owners. She rides fine and I've taken her some distance (furthest was London) and never faulted me any day of the week. Used her as a commuter between rotations of other transportation (my mk1 Fazer. car and peddle power) and a little over the winter (nothing like a ride out on christmas day) Bad points really are her paintwork and mileage but she is now reaching her 15 year milestone. The tank has some odd airbubbles forming on it. and there are just general marks from use and a chip in the right headlight. On the mileage. she was about to reach 35k when the speedo back broke and the cable kept falling off but only could get my hands on a clock reading 50k so she is coming up to 36k. paperwork supports this change. Please remember she hasn't been living in a showroom or tucked at the back of a garage only coming out for MOT's so she has seen a lot of use. She still has a lot left to offer and still is keeping up with todays bikes (my limits aren't thou) Please note i still have the standard can and also the abba stand(not the stand) kit for this bike too
