2011 TRIUMPH ROCKET 3 - 111 TOURING

Welcome to the sale of my Triumph Rocket 111 Touring that I've owned since July 2012. You would be hard pressed to find such an immaculate 2011 model with as little as 3. 00 miles for sale.   This is an iconic machine that is no longer being produced and is only one of a relatively few number around.   It will undoubdedly maintain an excellent residual value if cared for. In the time that I have owned it sadly. I have not really used it properly or to its full potential.   It has spent long days and nights all alone in a darkened garage with its cover on and in the winter. a de-humidifier to keep the damp away!  I can only remember a couple of occasions where it saw rain after which. it was wiped down. This is a real head turner and has performed without having missed a beat.   At 3. 00 miles. it is barely run in and it has JUST been serviced at Jack Lilley Triumph Dealer's in Ashford.   The only item(s) of note were that the front tyre will need replacing soon and the rear pads are about 50% worn (Good for another 3. 00 miles or so). They gave it a good going over because I asked them to and they were impressed with how good it is!The Rocket Touring comes loaded with most of features as standard such as the quick release screen and the panniers which can be removed with a quarter turn of two screws inside of each.   The passenger benefits from a Sissy bar and when you feel the power of this machine with a pillion on board. its probably wise to have one. or risk losing your passenger!  The features on this MONSTER from Triumph are well documented and the power and torque generated is now stuff of legends.   My bike is no exception.   There is nothing wrong with it.   It is in showroom condition and when any buyer sees it. he will not be disappointed. The bike is fitted with a Meta M357 TV2 alarm system and immobiliser.   Unfortunately this was fitted by the first owner and when I bought the bike. the second owner stated that he had never received a second key fob.   I've tried to get a replacement but this has proved impossible. The two options being. (a) Don't lose the only key fob I do have or let it run out of battery power  OR  (b) The bike needs a new alarm 'brain' since replacement remotes cannot be obtained which I find difficult to believe.   So far option (a) has been succeeful. you may decide differently. There is also some slight surface marking as is usual on the alloy wheels and front forks. on these. Nothing that is really noticeable or detracts from the bike's appearance at all.   There may be several other smaller wear and tear marks but nothing that is large enough to show on photographs and nothing that wouldn't appear on a similar age and mileage-similar machine If you wish to view the bike then please send me a message and this can be arranged.   I live in Northwood.
