1949 Triumph 6t thunderbird SURVIVOR show chopper

This is an unrestored survivor 1949 6t show chopper complete with trophies. a book full of photographs of the build and shows. magazine it was in and various history!The motorcycle was built in 1972 . pinstriped that same year and entered into contests where it won! Lots of trick things on this. aluminum bonneville heads with dual mono blocs. sprung hub. custom pipes. period accessories. chrome. nbsp;pin striping etc etc etc!!!!I changed the tires. flushed the fluids and checked all the connections and it fired right up! I have video if you want to see it! The only downside being that the left cylinder is getting a lot of blow by. My guess is that the rings haven't settled yet after sitting since 1979! Please keep in mind that 95% of the brown you see on the bike is just caked on dirt. i sprayed it off (see the photo of how i found it) but ill leave it up to you to take it back to shiny or not!Its being sold as is and will require a little bit of work to get it right back on the road.
