NOTE: a couple of the pictures posted are of the bike at a show right after it was finished. DESCRIPTION You are bidding on a 1967 Triumph custom chopper. We believe this bike was originally a 1967 Trophy TR6C model. It has lived its entire life in Southern California and has been in the family since the 1970s. The engine has been converted to a 750cc. built by John Yorke of Thoroughbred Motorcycles. Maple Falls. WA. The paint is House of Kolor candy-apple red urethane with a white ice pearl. All chrome was done by Vern's in Los Angeles. The bike was built ~5 years ago and ridden. so it is not "show perfect". It was used as a weekend cruiser. You will find the usual nicks and marks a bike that is ridden has. There is a 4" - 6" crack in the paint on the front of the steering neck section of the frame. The whole bike needs to be thoroughly detailed. the chrome needs to be polished. The kick & brake pedal rubbers need to be replaced. It needs to be re-tuned and the fluids should be changed. Since the summer of 2012 it has been started and ridden around the block a few times. It can be a pain to start at times. The fuel has been kept fresh. The bike has been covered and stored in a garage. **We may have the left over paint and pearl from when it was painted. I am still looking for this. ** As can be seen in the pics the bike has been heavily modified / customized. Assume most parts are not stock. What follows are the best details I could come up with on the bike. ENGINE The motor number is TR6C DU47552 which codes to a 1967 single carb 650 motor with high pipes. the purported "on road / off road" model (when it was stock). It may be the original motor to the bike. but I am unsure. The motor has been modified to a 750 cc I believe by changing the top end. Head: Triumph Valves - Rowe Pistons - Morgo Cylinder - Morgo Mark II Camshaft - MAP 1065 Pushrods - Triumph Carburetor - AMAL R300 930 w/ velocity stack Transmission - 4-speed Triumph Ignition - Boyer Exhaust - chrome MAC 3-bend Oil Tank - horseshoe style with battery Fuel Tank - 2. 2 gallon Emgo FRAME & SUSPENSION Triumph frame with a bolt-on hardtail and springer front end. The parts appear to be Paughco. but there may be some DNA parts mixed in as well. WHEELS The front rim is a 19" chrome DNA with a 90/90-19 tire. It is single disk brake. The rear rim is a 16" chrome JP Cycles with a 130/90-16 tire. Drum brake with a Triumph hub. MISCELLANEOUS Handlebars - 12-inch apes w/ 5-inch Flanders risers Headlights - 4" sport light Taillight - Lucas Seat - Two piece Drag Specialties vintage w/ chrome sissy bar TERMS OF THE AUCTION This sale is final and we will treat it as such!
