Offered for your consideration is this 1961 Triumph Tiger 110 Road Cruiser (this model was sold without the Bath Tub Enclosure). This unrestored example is an original stock Southern California bike being sold with a clear title and current registration. Engine and Frame number match, 110 D15755 makes this machine the last Tiger 110 manufactured in 1961. Original Kingfisher Blue and Silver factory paint on the Tank survives. Actual mileage is unknown. This is a bike I have owned since 2003 and has been a bike I had the intention to restore and I could sell it as a restoration project but it is better than that. Better described as a good solid mostly original Pre Unit Triumph 650 in good running and registered rider condition. Engine is in good running condition with no unusual noises. Rebuilt 10 odd years ago at that time it was fitted with a period accessory Alfin Alloy Cylinder by Wellworthy as well as a Webco Oil Feed cooler. These Cylinders were sold in the 1960's and are quite scarce, dds some profile to the Engine as well as added coiling. Gearbox is still fitted with the Slickshift feature, ot often found on later Pre Units after being introduced in 1958. Starts easily and idles, rips a bit of oil here and there nothing unusual for a 54 year old machine. Original Monobloc 376/40 Carburetor is worn but still works. Gas Tank is good shape with all original trim as well as being very clean inside, riginal fuel taps were replaced. Rear Fender is stock and unique to the 1961 Tiger 110 and 1962 Thunderbird, t has a 2" crack near the shock mount. the front Fender is from a later model but the original valanced Fender and 18" Wheel come with the sale. Both Fenders are cosmetically challenged and could benefit from some silver paint as the original bike had. I installed the 19" wheel for better tire selection as well as sportier look from the un-valanced guard. Tires are good, unlop K70 4.00-18 and 3.25-19 front. Mostly original hardware throughout. Fork action is good as is the Swing Arm, issing one of the Swing Arm Grease Caps. Rear Shocks are original and squeaky. Clutch works well with no slipping under load. Brakes also work well. Lucas Head and Tail lights are working as is the Horn. Ignition provided by a Lucas Magneto which has never been serviced so this maybe necessary in the near future although good for now, harging via an Alternator. Seat offers a very nice profile and provides good comfort although the foam is soft but shedding dust, he cover is a custom period replacement and is torn at the front. All chrome on the bike shines brightly, xhaust pipes were replaced in 2003. Mufflers are nice and provide a splendid exhaust note. Overall the motorcycle presents itself very nicely, very cool machine which is currently registered. Please check out the you tube video where I just took the bike on a short ride across the Colorado Bridge in Pasadena to the site of where Johnson Motors once was. See from the video how smooth it rides. Please take the time to study the pictures below as these show the bike very clearly. Clear title with a vintage plate fitted by the California YOM program.
