Description

Up for auction and your consideration, s a 1957 Triumph Tiger. (Clear Title) Matching engine and frame numbers.

This must be its golden year because it is now 57 years old. My father purchase this Motorcycle used in Detroit over thirty years ago, e then rode it home. Thefork tubes where rusted and frozen up so the front endcame apart and there the bike sat apart practically buried under lots of stuff in a dry garage for over 30 years. The engine was kicked over now and then to make sure it didn't freeze up. After replacing the fork tubes and some other parts, ew and used. I reassembled what I had of the front end. Installed new exhaust with the same it had 30 years ago. Changed the oil and cleaning the points and carburetor, he fired second kick. Runs great with no smoke, lutch dose not slip, hiftsand holds all the gears, nd the brakes work great also. Starts and runs and can be ridden. (Please keep in mind it is a 57 year old Triumph and requires a lots more love and appreciation). I have installed a small 6V battery a couple of cheap switches and tried the electrical, t looks to be all there and mostly correct. Generator charges, ights, rake lights, nd horn all work. Tiger has MI title it is not registered but can be, t is street legal.

Needs correct battery and strap. The gas tank has a small dent left side between badge and rubber nee guard. Seat has some normal wear tears. Engine seeps oil (it is an old Triumph). Rear wheel rim has rust and chrome peeling off; also it is missing three spokes. Front wheel rim has some rust but should clean up nice.

This bike is a great motorcycle to start your complete restoration or chopper, obber, roject. I like it just the way it is old and classic.
