Description

Hello all. This is one of my -nevergonafinish- projects. As you can see it is a rather shabby looking motorcycle with a spectacularly painted fuel tank. I boaght this bike from the second owner and good freind in the early eighties. We used to ride together a lot but when the "RITA" ignition went out I bougt it and installed a Boyer wich is still on board. Anyway I can say with certainty that the miles are acctual and that it came from the factory in this, he European configuration. Large tank, ide seat and those handlebars. Ive put less than 100 miles on it since purchace. It last ran in 1995. The big reason for selling is Ive misplaced the box of parts that goes with it. Carburetors, ide covers, hifter. If you dont see it its not included. The good news, otor turns over fine and has great compresion, ranny is fine. Front brake works great, ear brake cyl. is frozen. Tires are new just no good anymore. Fork tubes, prings and seals, procket, ables and many more parts have little or no miles on them, ust a lot of years. And that gas tank!!! Had it painted by Michael Wamsher, well known classic bike painter of the day, round 2009 I think. He sealed the tank with the best available product then gave it that beutifull original paint job, and painted gold pinstipes and all. The bill came to just under 1000.00 bucks. Ya really!! It has never had fuel in it or even bin opend up. Neither has the motor or tranny. Oh yes, he frame neads to be welded and there is some rust here and there so you might as well powder coat it while youre at it. And the chrome is old and peeling_______PROJECTS. Questions? please ask PS If you'r in the area please Email and I'll try to meet with you.
