Description

2007 Bonnie in Seriously Clean and Proper Order. After having a few vintage Triumphs, can honestly say that the peace of mind minus the Lucas bugs is simply Great!!! I could jump on this bike and head out on a 3-400 mile day trip and stop for gas and lunch and come home smiling. Don't get me wrong, love the old Brit Iron, ut had a few "dark days" even on a well kept and tuned ride. Having said that, his bike is barely broken in, nd runs and rides beautifully. My 4 cylinder Hondas didn't have the clarity in the mirrors at 70 mph that this big twin does !!! It runs out smooth and pulls strong. I did the suggested secondary air injection removal (have all the original parts), emoved the exhaust baffles, ut 1 shim under the carb needles, nd re-jetted. Removed the air box baffle also. You can pass a tractor trailer on the highway at 50 mph and just crack it without dropping a gear, nd scoot by up in the 80 plus range effortlessly !!!!! I also installed a 19 tooth primary sprocket to drop the cruising rpm and get a bit more on top. I'm including a sweet tail bag that has quick detach straps and holds just enough for a day trip or commute to work - spankin' new.
I'm a young almost 60 year old, ut my blown discs kill me after 50 miles or so, nd I'd like to see someone get this low mileage bike and ride and enjoy the Hell out of it. That's it - no Bulls*it involved.
To make this Bonnie even sweeter I made a few upgrades:
New Mustang seat - made for this bike - installed about 300 miles agoNew "Tracker" Black bars - look killer and feel like 70's Daytona or Bonnie barsNew Maund Lucas tail light and signals - Sooooo much better than that chrome joke from Star TrekWrapped the pipesNew mirrorsMotul Oil change and K/N filter @ 1425 milesRe-located the ignition to frame gusset on right side in front of gas tank - Much Better !!!Have the original 18 tooth sprocket - Air box baffle - Air injection system, nd Original Tail Light and Signals and Handlebars - sold the original "Plank"seat - can't compare to the Mustang (which was close to $300.00!!!)
I was asked about the tank scratches - the previous owner told me he carried a bag of groceries between his legs and obviously that wasn't too keen a move. They are there, ut VERY Minor - I used some hand glaze and they were hardly noticeable.Rear fender has a 3/4" scratch that is pretty defined - we had to run through road work and my buddy spit a rock (Rocks actually!!) at me and I ended up with a boo-boo. Tooth pick and touch up paint would do wonders - I won't try to hide anything.
I'd like for someone local to grab this so they could come and see in person what I'm offering - Neighboring states to New York could benefit from a shipping arrangement for me to transport for gas $$$.

If my reserve is met, r close to it, will carefully pack the original parts and send them along to the new owner. This applies to the lower 48 USA. When I sold my '70 Daytona T100R, he transport wouldn't take the parts, o I shipped them.
