.1979 Triumph 750 Bonneville 12,283 miles Original owner with receipts Has original owner’s manual and many receipts from original owner including: Original invoice for purchase dated 6/15/1979 for $3025 On 7/30/01 receipts for new tires, rakes, aster cylinder, arbs, orks, rimary chain, lutch, peedometer drive and cable, etcock, attery and many miscellaneous parts for a total of $2745.07, aid in full, dometer read 12,114 miles. After that the owner put the bike in storage with 12,283 miles. It has matching numbers on frame and engine with clear Wisconsin title signed over by ORIGINAL owner. Stored properly in 2005 in a heated garage. Original owner had carbs cleaned and new petcocks installed (comes with originals) and oils drained. Amazingly clean solid Original. All chrome, etals and paint in very excellent shape. Chain and sprocket excellent. Gas tank is clean, xcellent patina on tank. Side covers, rakes, ims, uspension, ront tire excellent. Rear tire looks almost new but has one small side crack. Tank paint has one minor scratch (see photo) and some paint rubbed off where seat touches tank. Side and center stand excellent. Exhaust very good with 2 small dents (see photo). Started with one or two kicks in summer. All lights, ignals, rakes, lutch, ransmission, ven horn worked properly. And now a little bad. Started it last week on third kick, ut killed after a few seconds. Battery was low, nd it has so much compression (I’ll be 70 next year) that I couldn’t kick start it. So my wife pulled it with a truck on wet soft grass. When I let the clutch out, t skidded and fell in soft ground. Broke front and rear turn signals, nd the rubber tip of the hand grip on one side. One scratch on headlight bracket but I can’t get it started. There are not many original 79 Meriden Triumphs left and I know I would get $5500 to $7000 in spring if it were running, ut wife says sell. I have a very reasonable reserve but I’m not giving it away. Someone is going to be very happy and proud of this bike with a very little work. I am located 250 miles north of Milwaukee in Eagle River Wis 54521. I’m a collector and enthusiast, ot a mechanic. I have 4 other Bonnevilles and this one is the best, ut I love my 66. I need you to be satisfied and try to represent my bikes accurately. Call 715 477-2945. I can help deliver the Racine/Milwaukee area.
