1970 Triumph Bonneville T120R

This is a matching numbers 1970 Triumph Bonneville.   Motor has been rebuilt.  Cylinders are standard bore with new rings and fresh hone. New seals throughout. There is a lot of chrome on the bike and it is all new except the chrome on the rear brake backing plate and exhaust pipes.  The rear brake shoes are new as are the rear chrome spokes and rear rim.  PWK Carbs jetted perfectly to the motor and exhaust.   Starts on first kick and runs strong.  No oil leaks or smoke.  The rear shocks are new as is the rear tire.  The front tire is used but in great shape.  There is an aftermarket speedometer mounted on the handlebars driven by a new speedometer cable.  All the lights work as does the horn.   Bike is a dependable daily rider.  It is a wonderful candidate for a complete restoration also.  The frame has not been cut or altered in any way. and since it is a 1970 frame with the removable front motor mounts. it is a very attractive piece in itself.  The tank is a late model Sportster tank altered to fit the stock Triumph frame mounts.  Once again. the frame has not been altered.   Stock ignition with new maintenance free battery.  New late model Harley Davidson Nightrider headlight. Clear Arizona "A" title with 12. 51 miles listed on it  I've put a little over 500 miles on bike since rebuild.   Something to consider.  The restored 1970 Bonneville sells on Ebay for $10. 00 to $15. 00. depending on the quality of the restoration.  The hard work is done on this bike.  Wouldn't take much to make this a restored collectable.   I have a stock slimline tank not included in the auction that I'll sell for an extra $250 at the end of auction if you plan on restoring this bike.  I also have the stock rebuilt Amals which are not included in the auction but will sell separately to the winner also.  Buyer is responsible for arranging shipping. and I will help load the bike on this end if necessary.  I will not release the bike to shipper until the bank transfer clears and my bank gives me the OK.  $500 immediate Pay Pal deposit to be made at end of auction.  Local pick up with cash is also acceptable.  Bike is sold as is and because of its age. there is no warranty.   See detailed pics and feel free to ask questions. or call me at 520 795 6049 and if I'm not home. leave message as I'll be happy to return your call.
