1967 TRIUMPH 650 "CAFE RACER"
Truly a 1 of a kind custom!
Runs and rides EXCELLENT! No mechanical issues whatsoever.
Selling from a private collection.
(73H) wasJames "Birdie" Byers AMA Flattrack number here in Southern IN. for hisTriumph. He was a wild man on 2 wheels. He has since passed away so that is a tribute to him.
Previous owner built this bike in 1995 and had owned it /ridden it ever since.
One of the BEST running and sounding Triumph 650's I have ridden in a long time.
Cosmetically in beautiful shape as well.
Clear/clean Kentucky title in hand and the bike is #'s matching.
Stored in a climate controlled environment and ridden on a fairly regular basis.
Not just another pretty face. Just an extremely clean "Rider" bike.
Numbers matching T120 frame and T120 motor fitted w/ TR6 head.
Stock frame is unaltered.
Aftermarket fiberglass vintage tail section.
Brand new Amal carb
Top end was completely rebuilt a couple of years ago using Hepolite pistons, ew valve guides, alves and springs.
New clutch plates.
Clubman bars, ates headlight w/amber bulb and Mighty Max (battery eliminator) with capacitor.
Reverse magaphone mufflers, 68 Triumph conical front wheel and brake assembly laced to a Borrani Shoulder rim.
Bike starts right up on 1 or 2 kicks cold. 1 warm.
VERY STRONG RUNNER!! PLENTY OF POWER!!
It does drip oil here and there from time to time. As they all do. I have a garage full of these bikes and even my finest bikes leaks oil. It's an unfortunate fact of life.
You willNOTpark next to someone on another Triumph like this... period.
This motorcycle is priced EXTREMELY fair for a QUICK SALE!
Ask anything, nytime.
Thanks for looking.
Cheers
