1997 Triumph Sprint Sports

Bought this last year thinking I would get some time to ride again this year but it hasn't happened so have decided to sell.

Gave it a full service when I got it (mileage about 29460). this was the 28k service and included a new air filter (genuine) and re-shim of the valve clearances. Also had oil (Mobil 1). filter and plugs changed. Carburettors were checked and balanced.

Factory alarm was not operative so I replaced this with a new alarm/immobiliser and wiring loom specific to this bike.

Was MOT'd in April at 29539 miles with no advisories.

Has only done 3 miles since then! Starts well and runs as it should. Tyres are Bridgestone Battlax and have plenty of tread. exhausts are original and in good condition.

Overall the bike is in excellent condition for its age and mileage with only a few marks that are too small to pick up on camera. Runs well with brakes. gears. suspension etc working as you would expect. Everything works.  

This bike was registered June 1997 and I have wondered if it was one of the last  Sports that Triumph built as a run out bike (before they decided it was a good seller and started building them again in 1998).

The bike had been "data tagged" previously so I sorted out paperwork and now have documents for that plus transfer form for new owner.

Bike is located about 40 miles south of Edinburgh and the nearest station is Berwick. I am happy to pick buyer up from there.
