Description

*NO RESERVE AUCTION*This bike was part of the "Classic Kustom Cycles" (Formally "Bones Legacy") motorcycle collection here in Las Vegas, V.
You are bidding on a true survivor chopper. This bike was built in Illinois in the 1970's and last registered in 1983! It is a very rare1967 Triumph "Trophy" TR6C (competition model) It features custom molding on the frame and a bolt on hardtail.
This bike starts easily, uns good, hifts through the gears nicely, ndsounds great!
This Triumph alsohas a long list of very rare period accessories that make it unique. The extremely rare "SIE" (Chicago based chopper company similar to AEE) square springer frontend being the biggest item (*Note that the springer has SIE's signature square edged springs and "R-1" rockers.)It also has "SIE" pullback handlebars, portster gas tank (custom painted in 1979 by Larry's Trick Paint), antee hex oil tank, AEE" king and queen seat, nd "AEE" "Rams Horn" chrome sissybar.(see vintage "SIE" and "AEE" chopper ads posted in listing)
The front rim is a 17" with a spool hub. Rear rim is a 16" Harley drop center type and has an original (hard to find) 5.00-16" "Goodyear" tire. Performance carb is a Amal "MKII". This bike also features an old finned aluminum battery eliminator (similar to a "MityMax"). There is no key, ust kick to start and it always starts on the first or second kick.
The serial numbers on the engine match the clear Illinois title. The serial numbers on the frame are not visible due to the custom molding around the steering neck area. The "Square" molding on the frame was done to match the looks of the "AEE" square springer.
The chrome on the springer is excellent. Some of the other chrome on the bike is not as nice but will clean up with some love. The custom paint on the gas tank is very nice and still shines. The paint on the frame however is not as nice and is chipped up. The bike has a nice overall look to it with a nice aged patina.
This is a rare opportunity to own a real piece of chopper history with lots of cool period accessories.
