1958 Triumph Thunderbird 650. Rare Bike Fresh Restoration same owner for 48 yrs

Up for sale is this Vintage 1958 Triumph Thunderbird 650.. Its has been owned by the same owner for over 48 years. He was a true collector and owned over 100 Triumphs. This was the last bike he restored and was his true pride and joy . The Engine and trans were rebuilt completely as were the heads. It has a New correct exhaust system on it. He replaced the 58 front end with a 68 front end which gives you a much better ride and its more road worth.. Also he added a correct style headlight . The bike sat in a climate controlled storage for many years until i purchased it. I then took it to Wes Scott Cycles here in fort lauderdale who only specialize in triumph Motorcycles and restorations. I had Wes himself go through the bike here is what he did. We cleaned out the tank and had it prepped for new gas. .He rebuilt the carb, nstalled New throttle cable, ew brake cable. New speedo cable, ew brake pads, ew spark plugs and New batter, e adjusted the chain and changed the oil and trans fluid. The bike was converted to 12 volts so its much nicer and more efficient. It Now is ready to Go and starts right up on first kick and sounds amazing. It also drives the part as well. They were very impressed with the handling and the power and said whoever buys it will get a Vintage Triumph that they can drive or Take to shows..I had the Tank professionally painted and its looks amazing. Wes installed new Knee pads on the tan, ew pet cocks, ew filter on carb which is the correct one. I replaced both caps on the oil tank as well as the gas tank. New brake and clutch levers.I also had the Original seat redone and piped it looks amazing. My dad and i detailed the bike and it looks amazing. The wheels are in great shape. they are steal. A nice set of Stainless wheels would put the bike over the top.
