BACKGROUND: This is a1961 Triumph Bonneville T120 completely restored mechanically and cosmetically. No expense spared. It is a 99+ point restoration capable of being proudly displayed, hown, r ridden.

Numbers matching machine. VIN T120 D118xx. Gearbox number 124913. Zero road miles. PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS * if you are not sure about anything you see or read.

ENGINE: Engine disassembled, ases degreased & glass bead blasted, ilways cleaned, ludge trap cleaned, ew drive bearings, onnecting rod bearings, tandard bore cylinder, ew Hepolite pistons, ew rings.

- Cylinder head glass bead blasted, nd rebuilt (see photo) to factory specs including new valves, ew phosphor bronzevalveguides, ew springs. Corner stud holes doweled to prevent cracking -common occurrence in P/U heads). Will run on unleaded hi-test fuel.

- Correct new Amal Monobloc 376 carbs fitted. Correct fuel lines.

- Oil feed and returns are NOS herringbone. New rocker feed line with new hardware.

- Correct exhaust pipes. Correct new production mufflers.

- Correct new inspection caps Made in UK.

-Correct pushrod tubes with correct seals and retaining rings.

- Bush, hrust washers, prings replaced.

- New chrome kickstart lever and gearchange lever.

- New clutch basket and bonded plates

- New drive chain.

SUSPENSION: New shocks with correct shrouds.

- Rebuilt forks with NOS springs, ew Made in UK chrome caps.

- Swingarm rebuilt, ubed, orrect re-cad end caps.

- Rechromed Dunlop wheels (18" rear, 9" front). Built up with stainless spokes, ew inner tubes and correct profile tires.

- Wheel assembly balanced - front and rear.

- New correct Made in UK seat. Special Leyton high quality black seat with white piping.

BRAKES - New shoes, ll new cables, e-cad adjusters. Drums powder-coated.

GAUGES: Correct Smiths Chronometric instruments rebuilt by Nissonger. SC5301/26 speedometer and RC1307 tachometer. Correct cables and connectors.

ELECTRICAL: Upgraded to 12v system with Podtronics voltage regulator/diode/rectifier. No more blown bulbs or cooked battery.

- New stator & rotor.

- New correct cloth wiring harness.

- Rebuilt correct style horn installed.

- Genuine Lucas headlamp fitted with QD plug and genuine Lucas lens. Genuine Lucas ammeter.

- Genuine Lucas tail lamp.

- Battery will need to be installed.

FUEL TANK: Correct, uperb condition fuel tank. Sky blue and silver tank with gold stripes. New center strip and hardware. Excellent badges and parcel grid. New fuel taps. New filler cap.

COSMETICS: - Black parts powdercoated - except shock bodies and horn. Many chrome parts re-plated or replaced with correct NOS factory parts.

- Silver painted fenders with sky blue stripes. Silver oil tank, oolbox & cover.

- All hardware either correct new cadmium plated, r original hardware re-plated. Some stainless hardware where factory specs not specified.

- Correct centerstand and sidestand installed both with correct new springs and hardware.

- New correct Made in UK chainguard installed.

- All rubber parts have been replaced with factory-correct footpegs, earchange and kickstart rubber. New Dunlop K70 front and rear tires.

OTHER: Exhaustive list of other parts replaced. Many original parts (NOS) used. Parts supplied by Tri-Cor, alridge Motors, ritish Only, nd Rabers.

LOCATION: Located in the Bay Area, A between San Francisco and San Jose.

IMPORTANT: This is a 55 year-old vintage bike that deserves to be preserved by a mature collector who understandswhat service & maintenance are required to own a classic bike of this vintage.

During assembly all engine and transmission parts were pre-lubed with engine assembly lube. The sump has a small amount of oil and the oil tank has oil. A small amount of oil was added to each cylinder. The engine is turned over occasionally. The forks contain oil.

Never started. Will need to have fluids added, attery installed, oints adjusted, dle set, nd timing set. The new owner will have the pleasure of bluing the pipes during initial tuning.

VERY IMPORTANT: The timing has been set, he valves adjusted, he carbs set to initial specs, nd the chains adjusted to correct specs. Once started, djustments will be needed. If you are not comfortable doing this yourself, r if you do not have a mechanic capable of performing this work, erhaps you should not bid. IF you are mechanically inclined and can perform routine maintenance per shop manual OR if you plan to display this motorcycle, lease bid ! I will provide you a list of startup instructions to guide your efforts.
