For sale my Triumph Trident. which is a very good example. The bike has been restored over a number of years by previous owners with high quality work done. I have a large file with receipts available to view. A British bike with matching numbers it is thought to have languished in a showroom following manufacture. due to the impending launch of the T160. The engine. which is oil tight and very quite has had a significant amount of work undertaken with a large array of bills and parts lists. examples of this work include dynamic crankshaft balance. new UK hepolite pistons rings etc. mushroom valve adjusters. G&S hard chrome valves. Collisbro valve guides. Norton valve stem oil seals. T160 head bolt conversion. P&M head bolt kit. AP Lockheed Sintered Clutch with LP Williams lifter kit. Primary Belt conversion with a new top grade German belt recently upgraded. The bike has the Grimeca Twin disc conversion. stainless master cylinder upgrade. stainless braded hoses and British alloy rims with stainless spokes. The front end rebuild includes. progressive springs and new fork oil seals etc. The carbs have benefitted from a split cable conversion kit instead of the standard pull bar and as such remain balanced with a lighter throttle action. To the rear the bike enjoys new swingarm bolt arrangement and bushes. Koni shocks. new seat foam and recovered seat. stainless fittings in many places and new rear brake pivot arm and spring. All chrome throughout the bike is excellent without pitting and the poaintwork which is thought to be original. is like new. I bought the bike from a friend in March this year. who is an extremely particular restorer. believing it would be the British bike for me. To be honest I cant really get used to the right hand gear change and after a few near misses I have decided that I prefer my T140v Tiger. which having had an engine rebuild is soon to be back in my fold and will have further monies invested in it. Alongside this sale I am also selling two of my Honda collection to pay for dental implant treatment so looking at an empty garage soon. The bike rides very straight. pulls strongly in all gears. which select perfectly and it sounds great with Peashooter pipes . The bike simply needs to be ridden having covered just over a thousand miles since a lot of the engine work was done. I am in no particular rush to sell this bike and will consider offers. Viewing is welcome I live in Farnham. Surrey.
