This bike absolutely blows away its dearly beloved predecessor, he Thruxton 900. We will always love that bike, ut one ride on this new model with its liquid cooled, uel-injected, ight-valve, 200cc engine will get your heart rate up and your adrenaline flowing like you haven't experienced in a long while. You'll definitely notice the 41% increase in horsepower (now 96hp) and the 62% increase in torque (now 112Nm) the first time you crack the throttle wide open and feel the front wheel rise effortlessly. All that power and torque builds smoothly right up to the redline, aking this bike a total blast to ride at a brisk pace. The dual front Brembo 310mm floating brake rotors, ual front Brembo four-piston monoblock radial calipers and radial master cylinder, long with the 220mm rear brake rotor and two-piston caliper will stop you in a serious hurry no matter what your speed. And the twin Ohlins fully-adjustable rear shocks and 43mm Showa fully-adjustable front forks can take pretty much any curve you throw at them. All that being said, his is a bike that can be ridden comfortably at as relaxed a pace as you like. In fact, he new engine is 11% more fuel efficient than the previous model's engine, iving it a 180-mile range. There are three riding modes (Rain, oad, nd Sport), nd you can toggle between them on the move. Just select the mode you want with the button on the handlebar, lose the throttle and pull in the clutch, nd the bike switches modes. All three modes feature the same peak horsepower but deliver it with less intensity depending on the mode. It also features traction control and ABS brakes, hich can be switched on or off any time the bike is standing still. The dash features classic analog gauges for speed and RPM with digital readouts for fuel level, PG, verage MPG, istance 'til empty, dometer, wo trip odometers, lock, iding modes, nd ABS and traction control modes. This is truly a modern motorcycle with the gorgeous looks of a genuine classic.
