This is a fairly rare Triumhp T100SS 500cc triumph motorcycle. It is a matching numbers bike with a clear TN title in my name. Its not an original bike by any means, ut its a great candidate for a full on restoration or just ride it like it is. Ive owned the bike for several years but have ridden it very little. I was initially going to try and restore it, ut like the patina and character of it the way it is. The bike starts first kick almost every time and settles into a smooth idle almost instantly. The gearbox shifts through all the gears wonderfully and has new bearings installed. The top end does leak oi, ut I do have a new gasket set that will come with the bike. As I dont ride it often, let it leak and clean it up when I get back. The front forks and wheel are the later shuttle style forks and the 7" TLS wheel from a 70 up daytona. The fork ears are correct. The rims have rust but the tires are brand new, he bike really is a great bike and I hate to let it go, ut I have too many projects and something needs to move. The things I know it may need are the top end gaskets replaced, would replace the clutch cable as its stiff, new speedo cable as the speedo quit working and the cable looks suspect to me, nd thats about it unless you want to restore it. I have a set of factory style low pipes and mufflers that can be purchased separately if the new owner plans a full resto. The wiring is a home made job but works well. The ignition is a Boyer and it has a sealed battery. As a side note: this is the exact year and model of bike Bob Dylan had his "crash" on. There are many pictures of him on one of these exact bikes in stock form.
This seems to be a very good bike with a lot of potential for restoration or just ride it as it is and have fun. That being said it is a 52 year old bike and comes with no guarantees/ warranties expressed or implied. A local inspection is welcomed and recommended prior to bidding. Payment is due via cashiers check, ank wire, r cash in person. All funds must clear my bank before the bike or title will be released. The bike must be paid for in full within 5 days of the acutions end and a $500 non refundable deposit is due within 12 hours. Arrangement for the remainder need to be handled within the 12 hours as well. The bike must be picked up within 3 weeks of auctions end or storage fees will apply . The title is a clear TN title in my name so overseas buyers and shipping are welcomed but please contact me first. Ive tried to take plenty of pictures to show the true condition of the bike. Please ask any and all questions prior to bidding.
