Triumph T150V Trident

This is an auction for a Triumph Trident T150v US import.

This Trident has an extremely low recorded mileage and is in very good standard condition for its 41 years. It comes with a fair bit of history.

Originally exported to Baltimore in the USA in 1973 and imported back in 1988.

It was first registered in the UK on a ?ˆ?Q?ˆ™ plate in 1988 - This was changed to age related when I took ownership (early 2005).

It is a useable classic motorcycle and is a head turner wherever you go. The ride offers the totally unique vintage triple sound and triumph handling.

It is fitted with TT100 tyres.

The clutch plates and adjuster blade were replaced in 2008 and it has not done many miles since as it has always been a second bike.

Goodridge brake hoses have been fitted.

The shock absorbers were new in 2008 and have had little use.

The rear swinging arm was newly fitted with new bearings in 2008 and has had little use.

Chain guard was new in 2008 and has had little use.

The seat was new in 2008 and has had little use.

The rear wheel rim is as new and spokes on both wheels are stainless.

The chrome work is all in fair to very good condition although there are some scratches on the silencers and the front wheel rim has pitting.

With the sale of the bike is included:

?·         A set of indicators and flasher unit (removed when the bike was brought_

?·         A set of stainless replacement screws for the crankcases

?·         Unused replacement Disk for front Disk brake

?·         Unused fuel taps

?·         Various tools. rubbers. gaskets. cables and bits and pieces including the original swinging arm and chain guard that was replaced

This bike is 41 years old; it has a recorded and believed genuine mileage of less than 21k. Because of its age no guarantees are implied or intended. It does leak a little oil and it could do with tank respray and a tune up. The Trident has a long MOT but is not taxed (on SORN). so will need to be transported.
