TRIUMPH X75 HURRICANE

Selling on behalf of owner. unfinished project. 1973 authenticated Triumph Hurricane. Rebuild started 10 years ago with no expense spared but due to unforeseen circumstances has never been finished and has been untouched for the last 5 ?ˆ“ 6 years. Frame and swinging arm powder coated. wheels rebuilt with stainless spokes onto original Borrani rims. forks fully rebuilt with new stanchions. new steering head bearings. Needs new fork yokes as the originals are typically cracked. Original exhaust in excellent condition.

Engine fully rebuilt with new bearings throughout. new rings. chains. lead free valve seats etc. etc. but has never been run since the rebuild.

New wiring harness not fitted plus various other new parts including coils end electronic ignition. but no coil bracket.

Original fuel tank but at some point the rear under seat part has been cut off. There is another part with it but this will have to be modified to fit.

Bike was originally exported to the States but was repatriated and re-registered in the UK before the rebuild started. V5 present and in current owners name for the last 12 years.

Matching engine and frame numbers and signed certificate of authenticity from the TR3 owners club.

Brilliant bike that needs little work to finish with all parts required being readily available. Genuine unfortunate reason for sale.
